The Master Lock retractable key tether is an accessory designed for use with the company's mechanical and Bluetooth-enabled lock box families. This key tether ensures that the key remains secured to the lock box, preventing guests from taking the key with them after accessing the property.

The key tether is compatible with the following Master Lock lock box models: 5400, 5401, 5414, 5415, 5420, 5424, 5425, 5440, and 5441. The retractable cable can extend up to 36 inches (91 centimeters), providing ample length for users to access the key conveniently.

The key tether is attached to the inside of the lock box using a very high bond (VHB) tape, ensuring a secure and durable connection. Keys can be attached to the end of the retractable cable in one of two ways: either through a loop end with an adjustable collar or by using a key ring.
